Position Overview

We are looking for website and shipping department interns. Miss Cayce’s Wonderland is a fast-paced and exciting environment. As our website grows and is quickly becoming a supplier to crafters and decorators world-wide, you will be an integral part of our e-commerce team and a representative of the Miss Cayce’s values. With our on-the-job training we hope to help you develop your strengths, enhance your ability to problem solve and effectively work as part of a team.

Duties would include

  • Assisting in preparing products for shipment based off of online orders.
  • Website product upload
  • Assists in product photography and photo edits

Job Summary

Sales Associates demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise and ready for promotional events. Sales Associates have an emphasis on area and product knowledge, providing information on product features and knowing related items. Sales Associates ensure assigned areas are clean, shoppable and safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out customers; offer a friendly greeting, smile and make eye contact with customers
  • Ask open-ended questions in order to determine customer’s needs.
  • Show enthusiasm with the customer
  • When necessary, handle several customers at once
  • Describe features and benefits of merchandise; suggest related items/services outside of area that the customer may need
  • Escort customers to appropriate merchandise, no matter what area
  • Be aware of store sales and/or promotional events
  • Acquire beginner product knowledge in adjacent areas
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Participate in store cleaning activities (bathrooms, trash, vacuuming, dusting)
  • Participate in hospitality rotation, serving cookies and drinks to customers
  • Successfully complete any required training
  • Provide assistance in all areas of the store based on business needs; perform all other tasks and assignments as requested

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Sales Associate position will be 16 or older and be able to work a flexible schedule.

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to interact with customers and other employees in a professional, positive and courteous manner
  • Ability to push, pull and lift materials up to 50 pounds or more with proper accommodations and climb ladders to retrieve merchandise as needed
  • Able to stand and move about for extended period of time with only short rest breaks; reach, bend, stoop, etc. to handle products
  • Responsible for wearing clean uniform and will be well groomed at all times
  • Must be willing to work weekdays and weekends, January- December

Job Summary

Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Cashiers are also required to greet and acknowledge customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick responsive service to maximize the customer’s shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service consistent with the company’s core service standards
  • Offer a friendly greeting, smile and make eye contact with customers.
  • Perform register transactions quickly and accurately
  • Be aware of and actively promote store sales and/or promotional events
  • Employ suggestive selling techniques during transaction, including add-on selling related to customer purchase
  • Give customers full attention throughout the transaction
  • Provide gift wrapping services as requested
  • Assess the customer’s need for loading assistance
  • Escalate customer’s issue to Head Cashier when appropriate
  • Ability to interpret price tag and UPC information
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked merchandise displays at the sales desk
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Participate in store cleaning activities (bathrooms, trash, vacuuming, dusting)
  • Provide assistance in all areas of the store based on business needs; perform all other tasks and assignments as requested

Requirements
