Miss Cayce's Christmas / the Round Top Collection
Christmas in July (and the other 11 months)
Yes it may be warm outside but we have snow flurries (mixed with glitter) flying around Miss Cayce’s Christmas Store! Kathy and I begin the process of a NEW store each year by going to market (sometimes in December, even before we have finished the season). We attend market the month of January in Atlanta & Dallas and this year a quick trip to Las Vegas soon will help complete the buying for the 2013 season for the store and our NEW online store! ShowMeDecorating.com
Each year we go with ideas in mind and then are also open-minded to be inspired. We look at magazines, home decor and holiday to see color and style trends and look for new ideas to use in display and design for Christmas decorations!
Here are more of the Christmas trees that caught our eye from the showrooms and designers we love! We created the Show Me Decorating app “Recipe for Holiday Decorating” to show everyone the basic steps to decorating your Christmas tree like a designer! Learn how to tie a bow, theme your tree, and decorate!
Market inspiration…… enjoy!

Happy Birthday America!
Let’s celebrate all through the house! You can start at the front door with a July 4th wreath and @The Round Top Collection has great focal points or pieces to add to your flower pots.
Wreathes can have lots of different looks, bases, and colors, but the key components always stay the same:
1. Good Quality Base
2. Fun Focal Point
3. Wired Ribbon
4. Floral Accents
Your focal point can be a part of your collection. This Mark Roberts Fairy adds a touch of whimsy to the front door.
Can you see that we used the same components but each wreath is unique? No two doors have to look alike with all of the fabulous decorating ingredients from Show Me Decorating!
Stay tuned as we take you all through the house for July 4th!
Show Me a Seasonal Wreath with Magnets
So you don’t fancy yourself a designer, but love to celebrate and decorate for the holidays? This is the wreath for you! It is also perfect between a glass door where you need a flat wreath. How about a dorm room, apartment or retirement center doorway. Stores easily when not in use.
Add ribbon and seasonal magnets and you are set to go! As as much or as little as you like! Ribbon easily laces in slits cut into wreath.
I used excess ribbon at top to tie in a knot and hang on the wreath hanger used over a door.
Now add magnets! I used patriotic to celebrate Memorial day and 4th of July!
Happy Decorating Y’all ,
Becky and Kathy
Show Me Your Patriotic Pride
I love summer and I love America. The fact that two of my favorite holidays are close together, Memorial Day and the 4th of July allows for multi use of my collection of patriotic goodies.
It is a great time to gather all the Red, White and Blue and start decorating.
The front door and porch are the first place to start.
It is as easy as 1,2,3 4th of July!
A great wreath base is key, heavy wire construction and good wired branches allow for using over and over.
3 Key ingredients, wreath base, ribbon and focal point.
No glueing allows for items to be repurposed from year to year.
Add the length of ribbon securing with the wreaths wired branches, attach the focal point, tie a bow. Need to know how to tie a bow? We have an app for that! www.ShowMeDecorating .com
Happy Birthday America and Thank you to all our Brave men and Women who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom I enjoy!
Happy decorating y’all!
